The importance of language in shaping a people's identity and strengthening their sense of belonging to their nation is undeniable.
Language is a verbal and written tool used to shape thought, and its development is dependent on the development of the mind. Indeed, it is impossible for thought to develop without a parallel linguistic evolution that can accommodate all that is new and emerging. Furthermore, intellectual development is contingent upon cultural exchange; no thought has ever arisen or progressed in its advancement without translation and cultural exchange, whether literary, scientific, or philosophical.
As long as language is a human product, it interacts with its environment, influencing and being influenced, and its death or life is dependent on the death or life of its people.
Translation is the catalyst for intellectual exchange between the works of others and the unique characteristics of one's own culture. It is a primary means of cultural interaction, and it has been, and continues to be, alongside other methods, a key channel for the transfer of knowledge between nations. It is the gateway through which foreign influence enters the local culture, profoundly impacting its intellectual development and the evolution of its language.
What we have devoted our utmost effort to in this book is demonstrating the impact of transmission and translation on the Arabic language and thought in antiquity, as well as the impact of translation on Arabic language and thought in modern times. We reveal how translation—past and present—has introduced Arabs to new realms of knowledge previously unknown to them, acquainting them with the intellectual output of other nations and opening the doors of scientific knowledge to them. We show how translation propelled them beyond the limits of their intellectual horizons, highlighting how translation activity has shaped intellectual practice among Arabs and altered the course of their thought, both ancient and modern. We then endeavored to demonstrate the impact of translation on Arabic and how it broadened its horizons, as well as how the influence of translation on the structure of Arabic thought has led to developments in its vocabulary and changes in its fundamental principles. All of this, along with its related details and ramifications, is explored and elaborated upon throughout this research.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0602/3734/8926/files/24fea3238a952a84040636102e_f9e068e7-bd6f-4ef3-a40a-d91f61bd30dc.png?v=1740782011
https://mokabook.net/en/products/%d8%a3%d8%ab%d8%b1-%d8%a7%d9%84%d9%86%d9%82%d9%84-%d8%b9%d9%84%d9%89-%d9%84%d8%ba%d8%a9-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b9%d8%b1%d8%a8-%d9%88%d9%81%d9%83%d8%b1%d9%87%d8%a7-%d9%82%d8%af%d9%8a%d9%85%d8%a7%d9%8b-%d9%88
