Siege in Uncle Aziz's villa
Hasra and her husband, Aziz, lived in his villa with her sisters. Aziz was responsible for raising them, but for them, it was like being trapped and imprisoned due to his domineering nature, strict control, and the orders he imposed upon them. Hasra's sisters, Layla, Huda, and Nahed, chose to go their separate ways, escaping the control of Aziz, who had treated them like his own daughters. After Aziz's death, Hasra was left alone, wondering about her sisters' fate.

While still in university, Rana and Hadeer decide to look for work and successfully find jobs, leading to many adventures and challenges. Rana and Hadeer are pivotal characters in the novel, and the reader will later discover their relationships with the other protagonists.
Events unfold in Aziz’s house, where the family reunited and reminisced about what they had experienced in that house. She began to feel hopeful of getting her sisters back and that the impossible would become possible.
