Secrets of your home's energy: "Feng Shui" - a vast amount of civilization, tranquility, and creativity!

You may experience a passing situation or hear an ordinary sentence that makes you change your direction, just as happened to me with a Thai friend whose passing sentence transported me to a world of spiritual energy and tranquility that I had never seen before!

Feng Shui and Chinese Civilization

I decided to go and discover that amazing unknown. I decided to travel to the farthest reaches of the world where this science, which provides pathways to tranquility and spiritual energy, resides. So, I decided to go to China. Feng Shui began with a vision of the legendary Chinese master Fu Xi: a turtle emerging from the waters of the Yellow River (an object of great significance in China). On the turtle's stone back were engravings of the Baoji, the eight-pointed star, which is now studied as the foundation of Feng Shui. The invention of the magnetic compass around 2700 BC further contributed to the development of Feng Shui, as masters used it as an essential tool in its practice, thus shaping the direction of the discipline. The first book on Feng Shui appeared around 250 BC, written by the Chinese scholar Quoc Po and titled "The Book of Burial."

It's the old science that's new again: Feng Shui!

Do you feel happy in your home? Have you ever wondered why certain things are placed in the specific way they are? For example, why is the mirror always next to the dining room? Why is it said that things were more blessed in the old days? Feng Shui is simply the answer to all these questions. Before delving deeper into this science, we must understand the meaning of the terms Feng and Shui. Feng means wind, and Shui means water. With the development of this science, many schools of Feng Shui have emerged, not just one school or style. However, the two most famous schools are the Chinese and Western schools. This science is based on determining directions, whether using a compass in the past or, nowadays, using mobile phones and modern devices.

Feng Shui in our home!

Everything around us is connected to the movement of the universe, and even the slightest change in the cosmic elements affects us in turn, without us realizing it. There are five cosmic elements that constitute the universe: water, fire, wood, earth, and metal. What the masters and founders of Feng Shui did was simply discover the secret of the elements, the directions, and the changes in the universe and their impact on our energy. The closest and clearest example to which Feng Shui applies is the home, a place of rest and tranquility that can bring us comfort and peace, or the opposite. Your home is the place where you will find the most comfort, so choose it carefully. There was an old custom among our ancestors: when they went to buy a house, they would take a baby with them. If the baby cried, it meant that the house was unsafe and uncomfortable, but if it smiled, they were reassured about buying the house, as it meant that it was calm, comfortable, and emanated positive, peaceful energy. Feng Shui gives us some advice on choosing your home, such as not choosing a house on a main street exposed to exhaust fumes and noise that bring negative energy, or near a hospital to avoid exposure to negative energy emanating from the hospital atmosphere, and some advice on choosing colors and positions that generate positive energy in the home and avoiding certain colors and positions that bring negative energy to the home.

Chinese metals and zodiac signs

Have you ever heard the saying "people are like metals"? You probably have, and it's not just a metaphor; it's a literal expression. Ancient Chinese scholars categorized people into types, each type being governed by a specific element. This means that each personality shares traits with a corresponding element, such as fire or water. This is why we hear the expression "love at first sight," perhaps because two people fell in love and bonded quickly due to their similar elements. For example, if both belong to the fire element, their relationship is strong and positive, and the spark of love between them never dies! As for the Chinese zodiac, it's divided into animals and elements, such as the water rat and the metal tiger. Each sign has its own characteristics, which correspond to the qualities associated with its name. For example, the tiger is characterized as strong and vibrant, and so on.

The rain in the hills of Ba overflows with blessings

When can we trim the candle together?

Near the west window

And we talk together about the rain

In the hills of Ba during the night
