Legends of the Lost World
Product details
Early humans—the beginning of existence and the dawn of history—knew the pristine nature that was, for them, an unknown and mysterious realm teeming with dangers at sunset. They lived in this mystery for many successive eras until they became familiar with their surroundings and began to shape them with their first human touch, moving away from savagery and primitivism, and ascending the first rung on the ladder of natural evolution. From here began the story of the soul and existence. In its early stages, the human mind gathered rudimentary acquired knowledge and simple experiences from daily life, which was aimed solely at survival. Ordinary life began to tend towards refinement and comfort. They moved from living in the darkness of caves to living in the open air, and their role transformed from being prey to the animals that shared nature with them to being hunters, and from hunters who pursued animals to their caretakers. They went from being nomadic to being settled near rivers and vast lakes, drawn by the diverse plants that were one of their sources of sustenance.
