The novel tells the story of two main characters, the first of whom is “Maria,” a young woman who suffers from a mental illness that causes her to experience abnormal nightmares at a rate beyond the capacity of a normal person, causing these nightmares to turn her life upside down!

Maria tries to control her nightmares, especially the recurring ones, and despite going to all the doctors, therapists, and others, she finds no solutions or treatment anywhere!

Therefore, her mother suggests she try art therapy. Maria applies this therapy to the letter and begins to draw her nightmares on canvases. Indeed, the nightmares stop recurring, but they do not stop appearing in her mind. Maria continues to draw her nightmares on canvases for years and becomes a very famous painter, selling her paintings to many people at exorbitant prices!

Until the day comes when Maria's life will change drastically, when the nightmares come out of the paintings into reality and the nightmares begin with serial murders, and everything in the painting is applied perfectly to the victim to become a painting and a real nightmare!!?

Maria tries to control her unbridled nightmares to no avail before she loses her mind and before she is accused in a series of murders because she is the painter who created the nightmare paintings!!

So what will happen to her, and how will she survive the nightmares in her dreams and the nightmares in reality, and how will she survive the monsters that escaped from her paintings!?

Maria, who doesn't even remember her childhood, what it was like, or who her father was, becomes trapped between nightmares and a series of crimes that happen without stopping..!
