Ten years ago, something mysterious exploded in the sky, giving some men and women special powers, superhuman abilities that terrified people, because they used them for murder and terrorism in order to control the world.
No one can defeat them, they are invincible and immortal, that's what everyone thought at first. As time passed, some were able to identify their weaknesses, so they formed a group that called itself “The Revenge” while the super group was called “The Epic Ones”.
David, whose father was killed by Steelheart, the most powerful Epic, saw him bleeding at the time, which was out of the ordinary; so he sought to join the Revenge squad, in order to avenge his father, and because he was sure that there was a way that could defeat the Epic.
