Product details
In the introduction to this book, the author states:
First Year Psychology: This book will help you understand and befriend yourself, love your body, and respect yourself within your relationships.
In 2016 I was diagnosed with bipolar affective disorder, and since then my life has changed. Since then I have been reading extensively about mental health, attending individual and group therapy sessions regularly, and writing down everything I learn in them. I started specialized studies two years ago.
At the beginning of my journey, I was confused. The scientific psychology books seemed complex and difficult to me, and I longed to read simple books that would take me on a journey of self-understanding and understanding relationships. After five years of writing and studying, I decided to try and present this book; a book to help anyone starting out, a book that sheds light on some difficult concepts and explains them simply to those just beginning their path to psychological awareness.
This book is for you if you are just starting your journey of self-discovery, if you are still searching for yourself and want to stand on solid ground... that's why it's called First Year Psychology.
