In a shadowy city, Hassan lives a dull life as an obscure employee in the archives department, filling his time with books and memories, trapped in his routine and his ailing mother. His life changes abruptly when a doctor tells him his mother has cancer, but a strange man appears in his office, telling him otherwise and stirring up existential questions in his heart that he has never before asked himself.

A series of visions and dreams begins, in which a dancing angel appears on a desolate mountain, beckoning to him with cryptic signs. As the visions recur and blur with reality, Hassan decides to climb the mountain, embarking on a journey reminiscent of the old tales he heard from his father, searching for meaning, destiny, and perhaps salvation.

He is accompanied by Jalal and Imad, and there hidden secrets are revealed about “the first arrivals”, “Lahaz”, “Slaf”, and “the witch”,

The wolf, the bear, and the deer. The journey turns from a picnic into a battle with self, fate, and memory, and Hassan discovers that his survival is linked to understanding the mysterious legacy left behind by Tayeb – his father.

In a land where symbolism intertwines with reality, and myth with regret, Hassan wages his greatest battle: not only against an external enemy, but also against the widening chasm within him.
