Our inner monsters are creatures we created from our pain, our failed experiences, our being affected by what we went through, and our fear of what is to come. Despite us creating this monster, we can no longer control it. We are no longer the ones who control it; rather, it controls us and dominates our thoughts. We find ourselves waging a bloody war every day, unknown to anyone, in which we are the parties and ourselves. Every time we lose to it, our monster becomes stronger and more violent. But our battle has an end, and our inner wars have a peace that we will reach one day. We just have to continue fighting.
