My mom made the difference

Of all the life lessons my mother taught me, I can say without a doubt that one of her most fundamental gifts to me was a living faith that breathed in our hearts. She did it with words, she did it with actions, with prayers and praise, with the way she responded to life's hardships and trials. She did it with the joyful sparkle in her eyes in the corner of our home. She taught me to believe in God when she knew I was watching over her, and she taught me even more powerfully on those rare occasions when she wasn't aware of my watchful gaze. I consider this one of her greatest gifts to me because so much of life revolves around the power of faith. In fact, if you were to ask me what the greatest spiritual power in the whole world is, I would say my mother's faith.
