None of us can erase America from our daily agenda. It is present, by force or by choice, in the details of human events today. The two biggest events that have occurred in recent decades are the collapse of the Soviet Union and the changes in the Arab region. You will find America at the heart of these two events, in terms of title and details. It is the same with any other event in the world, such as the Scottish referendum on secession from Britain or the Brexit referendum. These are examples of every human event, whether political, economic, or cultural. This is not a demand for America alone, but something that is constantly being asked for. If it does not intervene, voices will come demanding its intervention. And if it does not actually intervene and is not asked to intervene, suspicions will haunt it with the accusation of intervention, no matter how small or distant the event may be.
Here, America becomes an epic text, both tragic and comedic, with which all of humanity participates in interacting and reacting. Lady America remains the beloved yet hated being; we love and admire her material and cultural development and progress, while at the same time we hate her domineering paternalism that makes her the human guardian over every little thing, as if every problem in the universe exists only because of America, creating it or being responsible for solving it. This leads to a malicious thought that asks: What if America were wiped off the map... would we invent another America to play the same roles...!!!
