The birth of a new doll, an unthinkable mistake in its making, its wool replaced with hair as silky and alluring as ebony, veins and blood piercing where the sponge once was inside, soft clay-like skin growing on its raw material, and threads of surrender dangling from it... Only then did it realize that it would live willingly to the desires of others, becoming like a wooden chair that found itself on a balcony overlooking a green forest, or a piece played among the deaf, or a theatrical scene applauded by the blind! Its birth is a trial... for it is a marionette, and all around it are afflicted with the disease of control!
