A romance novelist suffering from cancer decides, for unknown reasons, to write his last novel about a real serial killer living in Cairo whose existence is unknown to the police because he tampers with the crime scene and deflects suspicion from himself. The writer knows too much about this killer, and no one believes him, so he begins to track him down himself.
