The joy of being middle-aged
Product details
My forties seemed advanced to me when I was in my twenties. Not that I was into grandmothers, but it was definitely not young. I always thought that people who turned forty must feel a little sad about reaching that stage of life. Little did I know that most of them felt the same way I did in my twenties, but better, wiser, and more confidently. I had no way of knowing that most of them wouldn't want to go back to their twenties even if you paid them money, and that they actually love being in their forties. I never knew how beautiful and peaceful getting older could be. You simply stop caring about the unimportant things. And most things aren't that important.
