The book "The System of Mediocrity" is a book published in French under the title: La médiocratie, in which it presents the idea that we are living in a period different from the periods of human history, where power is far from the hands of those who can excel in leadership, and is spread out in the hands of mediocre people of different degrees and levels.
The matter has evolved to the point where it is sweeping through all fields, and triviality has become a celebrated system. The trivial have been able to build a new world that kills creativity and excellence, legitimizes triviality and backwardness, and makes deviating from the traditional system an unacceptable mistake, whatever the motives, and even if the result of renewal is good and positive.
The book was translated into Arabic by Dr. Mashael Abdul Aziz Al-Hajri, based on the original version published in French, while also referring to the version that was translated into English.
The book's translator provided helpful information before presenting its chapters, discussing the author and his work, her reasons for undertaking the translation, her overall perspective on the process, and some observations on the English version. She then moved on to present the book's main themes, a process that spanned approximately 60 pages.
