In this book I spoke about the mother and her beating heart, the father and his overflowing tenderness, the teacher and his concern for his students, the brother who shares with his brother the spirit, the heartbeats, the dreams and thoughts, and the friend whose presence beautifies life. I also spoke about the noble word and the one haunted by evil. I spoke about chivalry and the kindness that fills people's hearts, and I said something about the diseases of the soul and the ailments of the heart.
I did not bring anything strange into the book, nor did I bring up wonders or dig up oddities. Rather, I tried to look at the same views and contemplate the same scenes that everyone sees, but I used another lens, a purely subjective lens, bearing my own colors and my humble experience. So I brought the known and famous, then I reproduced and reformulated it by giving an example, or further clarification, or adding shadows.
